  • *Candidates who will complete all requirements for the degree by June 2027 may also apply. Candidates in the last year of degree should have obtained minimum 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST category) in the latest examination (or equivalent) recognised by the Association of Indian Universities/AICTE.
  • Must have taken/appeared for any one of the following: CAT 2026, XAT 2027 & GMAT taken between January 1, 2025, and January 15, 2027, will be accepted. (Ask GMAC to send the score by 31 January 2027. The GMAT code for GIM is 6VN-62-51. The programme accepts *GMAT scores from in-person examinations conducted at authorised test centres.
  • PGDM BDA applicants need to appear for GIM Analytics Aptitude Test (GAAT) to be held on 31st January 2027*

  • Profile-Based Shortlisting:Candidates are selected based on programme-specific and their other achievements in various areas, including academics, sports, co-curricular activities, and professional experience. This round applies exclusively to the candidate’s first preferred programme.
  • Programme-Specific Achievements: Graduates from select institutes; MBBS, Biotechnology, BPharm., BDS and life science from select institutes; CA (Member), CS (Member), CMA (Member), CFA (US) (All 3 levels passed – Charter received or awaited), ACCA (Member), CIMA (Member), CPA (US) (Member), FRM (GARP)(Both levels passed – Charter received or awaited) holders and B.E. or B.Tech. or B.Com. or B.A. Economics (Hons) or B.Sc. Economics (Hons) from select institutes; and graduates with at least 24 months of full-time work experience in specific companies are invited to the Achiever's Round based on their first preferred programme.
  • Score Exclusion:Candidates in the Achiever's Round are shortlisted without considering CAT/XAT/GMAT scores initially. These scores will be reviewed later.
  • Spot Admission Offer: A select group of candidates may receive a spot admission offer. All other candidates will be considered for admission alongside regular applicants. Achiever’s interviews will take place in person in Delhi, Kolkata and Goa.

  • Applicants are advised to use the GIM Ticketing System present on the dashboard, rather than an email, to get a quick response.
    1. Admission to Goa Institute of Management is strictly merit-based, with no donations, reservations, or management quotas sought or accepted.
    2. Application fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
    3. Email ID submitted at the time of registration will be used for all correspondence until enrolment is completed. Change in Email ID will NOT be permitted under any circumstances.

GIM charges lower application fee for early applications and higher application fees closer to the final deadline. If you make a smart choice, you pay roughly half of what you pay if you wait till the last day.

GAAT stands for GIM Analytics Aptitude Test. This test conducted by GIM is intended to assess a student's aptitude in the areas of Linear equations, Calculus, Matrices, Progressions, and Abstract Reasoning. The test is for a duration of 55 minutes with MCQs. The test does not have any strict sections based on the topics stated above. This aptitude test will be administered online. Every wrong answer will carry a negative mark. GAAT will be conducted on 31st January 2027.

Achiever's Round: Achiever's round is a profile-based short-listing of candidates based on their self-reported achievements in various fields such as academics, sports, co-curricular, professional experience, etc. Achievers Round is applicable to all programme (based on First Preference). The candidates for Achievers Round shall be shortlisted without CAT/ XAT/ GMAT scores. These exams scores will be incorporated later. An offer for spot Admission shall be given to select set of candidates, others will be considered for admission along with regular applicants. Candidates successful in the Achiever’s Round are eligible for scholarships. Achiever's interviews will be conducted in various cities: Delhi, Kolkata and Goa.

BIFS: Qualified CA, CS, CMA, CFA (US), ACCA, CIMA, CPA (US), FRM (GARP) and/or Graduates of B.com and B.A. Economics (Hons) from selected Colleges/Institutes (Achieved 6 CGPA or 60 %)
